We have many options available to ensure your new mattress is made to the perfect size. Our fool-proof templating method is our most popular option, or alternatively we have an extensive database of boat templates, can work from drawings and dimensions, or can collect your old mattress to work from.

Watch our short video, or follow the steps below, to see how easy and mistake-proof our templating method is.

We offer templating kits for just £10, which include a £15 voucher to use against the cost of your mattress. Call us on 03704 464 233 to order a templating kit today.

Step 1
Remove existing mattress or cushions and cover entire base in templating paper

Step 2
Hold the paper in place by cutting holes in the paper and sticking down with sellotape (or the stickers included in your template kit!)

Step 3
Crease all around the edges with your hand

Step 4
Mark around the edge with a marker pen

Step 5
Cut out the template and lay it back onto the base to check the fit. Make adjustments if required.

Step 6
Clearly mark the top surface of the template, any splits you require and your name and contact details.

If your mattress has sloping sides against the hull
Use a ruler (or the back page of our leaflet!) to measure vertically up from the edge of the bed base to the height (depth) of your new mattress. Use a tape measure to find the distance out to the hull at this height. Mark this measurement on the template as show (e.g. +6cm) and repeat 2 or 3 times along each angled side.
